of Helleborus - Lenten Rose

In collaboration with Liselotte Öhman, Ulriksdals Garden of Kivik is happy to announce that we now can offer you a limited edition with various Helleborus x hybridus.

Six different botanical illustrations of Lenten Roses are now for sale in our shops and through mail order.

Liselotte Öhman - a leading botanical illustrator in Sweden.
Liselotte Öhman is a most well recognised illustrator of plants and animals in scientific publications in Sweden. The National Encyclopaedia of Sweden, Sweden's National Atlas and the National Key are all examples of major publications using her illustrations.

During spring of 2008 Liselotte has carefully studied the botany and peculiar properties of the hellebores. She lives only 100 m away from the Garden of Ulriksdal in Kivik, so many visits have been made to follow the seasonal development of the hellebores.

Finally she decided to concentrate on six different Helleborus x hybridus. Six plants with different colours and properties.

Collection with six different botanical illustrations of Hellebores.
The collection consists of six Helleborus x hybridus with various colour of the flowers and forms. The are all painted as botanical illustrations in a classical manner with Latin text and close-ups of important properties. The illustrations are printed on a high quality paper, 300 g lithograph-intaglio printing paper in an edition of only 500 items per illustration. each illustration is individually numbered and signed. The format is 297 x 420 mm.

How to buy the illustrations
The botanical illustrations can be bought at the shop of Ulriksdals Garden in Kivik, in the studio of Liselotte Öhman in Kivik and through mail order. Orders for mail order are made by email to thord.ohlsson@edafos.se.

Prices
The whole collection of six illustrations costs 2.280 SEK. Optional selection of three illustrations costs 1.260 SEK and one illustration 480 SEK. (1 euro is approximately 10 SEK). When sent by mail order in Sweden an additional cost of 120 SEK is added for packaging and postage. The illustrations are sold in an elegant folder and with an information leaflet.

In our shops and studios you may also buy framed illustrations. These have silver frames, glass and passepartout Additional cost for the framed artwork is 500 SEK per illustration.
